The Spirit of Broadway Theater is proud to create and present the second annual Connecticut High School Music Theater Awards! This annual event seeks to raise the profile of high school performing arts programs throughout Connecticut to help ensure that the arts have a dynamic and central role in the educational life of young people while honoring all those who make these programs possible.

Awards in 16 categories were presented at a Black Tie Gala on Monday, May 24, 2010, at The Bushnell in Hartford. The event also included performances by participating high schools.
