Globe Honors

The Old Globe

The Old Globe is committed to encouraging and strengthening school theater programs and to providing top quality theater experiences for students. Globe Honors provides an opportunity for high school students to demonstrate their talents and to showcase the work done at their schools.

Students looking to participate in Globe Honors competition must first audition, and semifinalists and finalists are then announced at the annual awards ceremony. At the ceremony, participating students perform songs from their school musicals on The Old Globe stage before a team of judges and winning students receive scholarships at the event.

This year's Globe Honors took place on Monday, May 17, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. in the Old Globe Theatre.
