The National High School Musical Theater Awards is a ground-breaking program of national scope that recognizes and celebrates the importance and value of participation and achievement in the performing arts at the high school level. Research indicates that the performing arts have a positive impact on the educational, social and emotional development of young people throughout all income levels and demographic groups. High school musicals have the unique ability to reach nearly every student and promote participation in and enjoyment of the performing arts throughout every community in the nation – urban, suburban and rural.

Pittsburgh CLO and Nederlander Presentations have joined together to create this program to recognize achievement in high school musical theater, but we need your help!

By becoming a donor to the NHS Musical Theater Education Fund you are helping to encourage student participation in and enjoyment of the performing arts at a national level. You are also helping to create a new incentive for schools and communities to invest time and resources in performing arts programs just as they currently do with their nationally recognized athletic and academic programs.

Most importantly, however, your donation to the NHS Musical Theater Education Fund will help ensure that exceptionally talented students - no matter what their family background or economic circumstances - have the opportunity to participate in this unique program.

Donations in any amount are welcome and appreciated. NHS Musical Theater Awards^TM donors of $125 or more receive special benefits.
