2015 Jimmy Awards Event Details

The seventh annual National High School Musical Theatre Awards took place on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway, hosted by Michael Cerveris. Fifty-two high school students from across America competed for the Jimmy™ Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress. The talent showcase featured dynamic ensemble and solo performances. The program included a week-long theatre intensive in New York City.

Michael Cerveris is a 2015 Tony Award winner for his role as Bruce Bechdel in Fun Home, which he originated in the Public Theater production (2014 Lortel Award). Broadway: Assassins (2004 Tony Award),Sweeney Todd, The Who’s Tommy, Evita, LoveMusik, In the Next Room (or the vibrator play), Hedda Gabler, Cymbeline, Titanic.
